I'm in the process of replacing my t25 with a 14b and when I went to bolt up the oil drain to the 14b, I noticed the bolts that held the drain to the t25 are bigger than the bolt holes in the 14b.

I could pick some up at the hardware store that fit, but do I need any certain grade or will the standard grade work fine? I just wanted to make sure standard bolts will be fine with the heat in that area.

The bolts are 6mm x 1.0 x 20mm long, I believe. I would use the OE flanged bolts for this if it were mine, but Im sure you could probably get away with something else just fine, just use antiseize on the threads for added insurance, but the center section doesnt get AS hot as the exhaust side.

Ok, thanks for the help. I'm going to try and find some regular bolts and use some antiseize on them.

Does anyone know where I can get the OEM bolts? I looked online and a autoparts stores but can't seem to find them.

Also the 2g return holes need slotted to bolt up to the 14b

All slotted, just need to bolt everything back up :) thanks

MF241225: 16mm long at the turbo
MF101229: 20mm long at the pan, though you need the washer accompanying each bolt as well (MF660031)

I'm using hardware store bolts in mine and I replace them and the washers every time the line comes off.
