Well it does have 130K hard miles on it - and I noticed lately that when I am engine braking (coming to a light in 3rd, rolling to a stop-sign in 2nd, so forth...) that I hear what sounds to be like the fins sliding against the turbo housing... When I press the gas, the second I press the gas, the sound goes away, and when I release the gas, it only starts after the turbo it finished being put under pressure / spooled down...
It my turbo dying?
Also I just recently installed a downpipe on it and today I saw that the gasket between the downpipe and the o2 housing was ... well "blown" out... some crappy gasket they sent with the downpipe figured it wouldn't work. Anyways, replaced it and going to see if it makes the sound still - just wanted addition input on my problem...
Thanks.
