If you understand how to eliminate creep on a mitsu housing you would understand what he is saying. He ported the turbo so its harder for the air to make it out the wastegate and go through the turbo, causing the wastegate to pretty much not work at all. Its a good idea.

mad love for the auto's....non-dsmers and even some dsm brothers just dont understand.

As far as the no-intercooler thing....that just boils down to the internet warriors saying that certain things cant be done when in actuality ppl such as your self are out there doing it and puttin down the times.

kinda like my little td04hl thats still on my automatic not "melting" at the 20 psi it see's on a daily basis.

Tires are Blizack snow tires I think 205/60/16. I know they measure at a 26in. We are going to get some different ones soon. These ones were on our sand car and are about ready to blow out.

They are maxed out (115%) at 0deg base no meth 30psi with the AFRS going 13.2 out the top. With meth and the AUX pulling 40% fuel are AFRS are in the 10s and we have the DC around 95%. With the meth we have the base bumped to 4deg.


I dont trust timing # I see from loggers to much. We run the timing till we stop making good hp per deg or we get knock. We went from 2deg to 4deg and only picked up 1mph. So its not worth a HG to find out ware she might knock.

I was running about 0* base for a long time, but I decided to up the timing to about 4*. After that the driveability at cruise and right into boost is a lot better. Not to mention at wot the butt dyno felt a little which made me happy.

I run rich 11.1 afr and I get 4 counts of knock at most. Hope my HG can handle the cylinder pressures. But ive been running like this for a while now and still running strong. Thanks for the info on that beast of a 16g.

No meth pre turbo

Trans shifts firm and fast. We manualy shift it. When in drive the TCU shifts a bit early at 6k.

We just have the shift mod done. We have it hooked to the power Ecno switch so in Ecno mode its stock soft shifts and in Power mod its full line pressure with hard crisp shifts.

he's talking about this thread DIY 1G AT Clutchless Manual Mod. It applies for 2g as well as long as you pin to the corresponding tcu wires for 2g. I run it as well and love it

Awesome setup!

I'd give pre-meth injection a try. I picked up a full pound of boost on my buick with 2gph pre-turbo injection with no other changes.

On my 93 talon I've also installed a pre-turbo .75 gph nozzle on my current setup with 7gph post (100% meth) on e30 fuel. Defiantly spools the turbo faster. I'll probably go to a larger pre-nozzle in the future. If I didn't have a huge FMIC I'd go big on the pre-nozzle. You can gain back a ton of the compressor map making the turbo more efficient. Lots of blow through carb small block guys are running 20gph plus pre-turbo.

To the OP, I have a few questions. Were you injecting 100% meth or some sort of mix? How much experimenting did you do to come up with your total nozzle flow? What were your iat's? How do you turn the meth flow on, based on rpm, boost, etc. and is it a progressive system?

I ran as fast as 10.6 only only the blue wire mod. We did do a shfit kit but I dont think it really did any thing over the blue wire mod.

It was 100% meth with 4 Aquamist 1 nozzles running at 150psi which if I remember right is about the 4 1 nozzles flowed around 2000cc at 100psi pump pressure.

Not running an intercooler with that much meth injection should keep the air cool enough to be safe I would think!! Clean car and everyone says auto trans cant handle over 250whp without being built Id say you proved that to be false and i take it there is no stall converter either!!

The meth is plenty safe but when you have a problem its not. If I would have only been on Ethanol through injectors the car would have just died not blown up.

i've seen this car in person a couple of times and she's definitely a sleeper. Last time I saw it, it was a lot more gutted out too. Pretty cool idea in general if you ask me.

Every stock auto I ever raced with had a 100% stock tranny (all 1g's). In everyone I can get 20 psi off the launch and my lowest 60ft ever has been a 1.7's. I am usually in the high 1.5's to high 1.6's. I have a small 16g on e85.

Also my breaks hold and never had the rear tires spinning. As soon as boost builds and rises right when it hits 20psi I go.

So sub 2 60 ft is easy. I can believe someone would have a slower than 2 60ft with auto awd.
