10th Anniversary Gumball 3000 2008 - SF

Hello everyone. I drove into San Francisco yesterday and met up with a friend to check out the start of the Gumball 3000. I was very excited to see all the nice cars, and was looking forward to catching some celebrities as well. There were probably about 80 cars out there, with the highlights being: Enzo, Gumpert Apollo, McClaren SLR, Tesla roadster, and more Carrera GTs than I could count on one hand. The event was sponsored by Monster energy drink, so I grabbed quite a few of those. We pretty much just walked around for a while checking out the cars, and before they took off at a little after 1:00PM, there was a lot of engine revving going on. Hearing all these supercars revving at the same time was quite a sound! The cars took off for a quick lap around the city, with a little bit of burning out and whatnot. Afterwards, the cars came back through for the official start. The only slight disappointment of the day was the lack of celebs that I was hoping to see, but oh well. The cars were amazing, and we had a blast. Enjoy the pics!

Aha.. I love the Gumball rallies. Have you seen what it cost to run in it? We looked at it once back in the day. Came out to roughly 98 thousand dollars just to enter with one support vehicle, and there were TONS of ways to get booted from the run and not allowed to re-enter. I need to pay off my house before entering into that one

My friend was out there, I couldn't wake up , Did you see a Orange Mustang ??? two toned black on top?. If you did, That's my Friend Chris. He has a supercharged mustang, which has one best ford and HIN , best domestic, and runs a low 12 with full interior and system in the trunk.
