The GT3076 seems to be a pretty efficient compressor. Its nice how you're able to run close to 2 bar on pump with aggressive timing and a reasonable AFR. Were you seeing any knock?

nice run man. wish i wasnt out of town and could have seen it for myself. cant wait to see it with the new turbo.

Congrats on an awesome run. Without that bog it would have been even more spectacular. Nice job on the tune as well.

Here's to 10.40's!

Andy

WOW that is awesome. Are all your mods in your profile updated with this run? as in your greddy type-s held all that power is my main question.

:rocks: :thumb: to the 10.40's.

And yes, still on the Greddy Type-S

And not to mention, the manifold to turbo bolts were all finger tight and one was backed way out, woops. LOL

28psi, 20-21 degrees of advance, and 11.5:1 AFR's. Ya, it was running a little bit rich, but we were giving it that extra safety margin
11.5:1 seems pretty lean to me for pump? You sure you didn't mean 10.5:1

Anyway great time and keep at it :thumb:

11.5:1 A/F and 20-21 degree timing advance with 93 pump gas is awesome... and without any knocks too... keep up the good work...

Congrats. I see your from MO-Town im close to there i was wondering where do you race at?

Adding 2 degrees of timing from 5000 up on straight 93 oct and running 28 psi.....I am sorry but something sounds fishy. I have problems tuning at 24 psi on 94 oct, I see no less than 3 degrees of knock with timing sliders at 0. Running 20 degrees of timing is race gas territory.

I guess you have pretty good 93 down there. ;)

I'm not saying it cant be done, but my 50trim @ 25 psi with 11.2:1 A/F
I can only get 15 degrees of timing up top on 91 octane at altitude.

I know your log shows no knock, but 22 degrees is alot of timing for pump gas and that much boost. Doesnt seem possible to me. Either way your car is still fast as hell.

Alot of people are looking to deep into the logs and numbers, and forgeting about the setup. This is a very efficient turbo, with a great motor, intake manifold, and fmic. We could even pull more out of the car if we wanted to, and its very reliable as it sits. We found that out on our 3 wheel escipade on the way back from the track.

Congrats to a great driver and look for a 9 second pump gas pass in the near future :rocks: .

You people understand just about as little as me how the car did what it did. However, it did it, and that's all that counts in the end. I'm going to keep truckin' on pump gas and see what kind of numbers I can turn .

How did you get your coolant temps so low for that entire run? At the start it is around 156 degrees and then goes to around 169 degrees by the end. I did also notice it does peak after you were coasting for a bit, after the run, to 200 degress and then it drops back down to the 170's within a few seconds.

Andrew your car truly is an anomly that won't be replicated too many times I am sure. I wish I knew what was causing this freakish outcome so I could apply it to my setup too.

Congrats again.

I never even paid attention to the coolant temps for that run, but that is pretty damn interesting.

EDIT: Steve, I know. As soon as I find out, I'll be sure to let you know. This car is nuts. I mean, I can just roll out of the garage, no tune whatsoever, all baseline settings, and run 30psi on straight pump gas with absolutely no knock and full timing advance. Ya, I can't explain any of this...... But thanks!!
