Exactly ;)....And yes, everything was out of the equation. I FINALLY got the car to fire on the stock ignitor pack. Seems like it runs fine. Now I just need to troubleshoot the MSD and figure out why it's throwing fault codes at me.
The problems I had with my MSD, when I used it, always was a grounding issue. Make sure you use the grounding from your ECU for one and body ground for the other.

Seriously guys, stop the fighting to look at some pretty pictures :). Me and Nate worked 16 hours straight until about 5:30am to finally get it in driving condition and then had to hurry it off to the chassis shop early this morning. It's hideously dirty, and some of the parts of it are temporary, but it still makes me smile. Got some interesting looks going through town with no hood, sunroof, hatch, and a straight dump off the o2 housing.

I am still waiting to see what's the deal with the intake cause I found this shit in my house that is perfect for doing a similar setup but it's 4" diamter as I have a to4s hybird cover on mine. I am gonna cut a whole in my bumper and do the same kinda thing. I needed to open up the front bumper to give the fmic more breathin room anyway.

The car should be back Wednesday, to the dyno Thursday, and raced Friday. I have to go over there tomorrow and work on it more to get some stuff finished up completely. Top priority...get the damn axle out of the hub that I broke last time at the track. Nate beat the garbage out of that thing with a 10lb sledge and it didn't budge.

Have fun both of my axles are stuck in my hubs and I think I am going to have to replace everthing to do it right. What are you having done to the chassie?

dude seriously, unless you have a 2g gsx and your girlfriend is willing to, and has, modeled 3 lb brakes naked sitting in a racing seat, SHUT UP.

questions for said person are ok too, but you guys are ruining this thread with your pointless bickering. Zach's car is much faster than that, but who cares, super95awd ran a 10.8, HE WINS.

ROFL. Ya, I hardly even recognize the car anymore. It's absolutely nuts. Surprisingly enough, it doesn't seem like there are any real problems, just tuning to be done. We'll see though. And yes, I think I'm just gonna order a whole new hub assembly. I had to get both the fronts out at one point in time, and I got those, but this one is being even more ridiculous.

Dude the engine bay is ####ing insane! It looks so good. So did you relocate teh fuse box to under the dash? I have been thinking about doing this myself but don't really want to take a project of that size on at the moment. Seeing as I still have to get my car running first.

The car has absolutely none of the stock chassis harness intact, and about 25% of the engine harness. Just enough to run the motor and work the DSMLink. Switch panel controls everything ;). Along with eliminating clutter, I dropped like 50lbs in JUST wire and fuse boxes.

So when are you going to do 9's with pump gas? LOL. I really want you to track that baby!

Running it next Friday, calm down :D. And about the harness...Do not, I repeat, DO NOT put yourself through the rewiring. I rewired the entire engine harness as well. It was ridiculous.

On a side note, I want more Green Reputation blips damnit! They look cool.

Are you saying I can't drive? LOL

This week should be a long one but hopefully we will turn some heads friday night.

We are also working on a COP setup that actually works, if anyone is interested. Should have some pics up in a day or two. No more stupid misfiring hard to remove bulky junk.

Speaking of which, I tested it with topless plug and the depth should work beautifully. I'll throw it on tomorrow and take some pics for you guys.

Edit: And yes, I'm saying you can't drive ;)

I would take a 14.0 @165 over an 11.0 @ 115, 0-165 in 14 seconds, WEEEEEEE, even if it means I can't drive for shit, improving your driving skill is free (or the cost of gas, if you want to look at it that way, maybe a speeding ticket or 20 bucks for a wednesday night drag...) where as increasing trap speeds normally costs money.... a lot of money in some cases. I would have so much fun trapping 150+, no matter how long it took me ROFL

Exceptional job! The car looks amazing, rims and tires are superb.

Good Luck on Friday with the 9 second pass.

Randy

Cage is looking real good, and on schedule. I'm probably just going to man up and trade for an electric blue 9 that one of the dealerships is getting in. We'll see. I should have the car back home tomorrow getting it ready to throw on the trailer and take up to Indiana, PA. All is looking pretty good.

damn I really need to bust tail to get my 2g to the SO as well. Cant wait to see that car man.

At least he is still cool enough to come on tuners and post. Most people with fast cars think they are to cool to come on tuners. They forget where they started.

Good that some people understand :), and the Guinness book is on call. Today will be the final day of slapping the car back together and loading it on the trailer, then off to Nate's. I'll probably hop on tonight at Nate's to tell you how the car is running after we get it street tuned. Should be absolutely stupid. :rocks:

if you def go to the track, good luck!!!! anymore updated pictures of the beast?
