i have the 1.8 in my DL:notgood: I just wana keep it how it is no swap. but i do wana do some upgrades to get a lil more power to it. I wana put a cold air on it but the mass flow is so restrictive. is there anything to bypass that with so i can put a cool air on it.? and will a 2.0 header fit on the 1.8 block? Can anyone help me tune my 1.8? LOLLOL O one more is it possible to turbo the 1.8:hmm:

Start with not trying to make a monster machine with a 1.8L, for it's not worth it for the money you want to shove into it.

It was designed to run like it was made when it came out of the factory-the economical side of the DSM world.

The turbo option can be done if you got tons of money to play with and get mild results of the conversion.

Just leave it stock and tune like this = 5* BTDC with the ECU contact grounded and that motor uses NGK BPR6ES-11 spark plugs gapped to .44

Safe bet is to keep your money until a GSX turbo comes along for you to buy and to play with and keep the DL as a DD - which is what I'm doing now since I have a 1.8 to run around town in and a turbo to have fun on the road.

Good luck - DSM
