i have a 1992 eclipse 1.8 manual trans with 200000 miles on it.
it is starting to smoke so i bought a spare motor and am rebuilding it
1 when i reinstalled the silent balance shaft i have 1/4 inch end play
it move back and forth ,is this normal?
2 when i am ready to swap motors , can i leave the tranny in place
not touch the drive axels or linkage?
3 my rock auto rebuild kit came with a new water pump make tested 2002
would you use a new 10 year old water pump
