04 skyline turbo question

i found a guy selling a turbo off a 2004 skyline. he claims that its a 20g. does anyone know if will bolt right up? only reason im thinking about it is because he wants 200 for the turbo and manifold. turbo has no shaft play. thanks

From what I recall skylines are twin turbo. Each individual turbo would never be enough to be an upgrade to a 14b, if that's the case. . .

. . .And I think nismo or nissan has a deal with garrett.

I agree...All skylines are twin turbo..from factory. That most likely mean they have small turbo..No bigger than a 14B. And i also heard that Nismo has a deal with Garrett. If you have any pictures or numbers of the turbo..It would be most helpful.

Yeah, that's not a 20g. If the link is for a "Garrett" turbo, then it's not a 20g. Looks like a scam anyway. Or someone that REALLY knows nothing about turbos.

Nissan turbos and Mitsu turbos are way different. I just did an RB swap on a 240 three weeks ago for a friend. No way will it bolt up

last time i saw a skyline turbo i thought the turbo and the exhaust manifold were one piece? weel thats the 09 and last time i checked they didnt make a 04 skyline.
I think they are made by IHI not garret

not correct, RB25, which i believe is from a gts-t, is a single turbo.

you're right. most of the r32's were a single turbo, RWD model.

and i would even emagine how you could bolt one on a stock 4g63!!

Im sure you could get it on there with some custom fab work... but why?

Its true like everyone else said not a skylines came TT some of them came single i think it was the gts which is rwd.

My best friend just moved to New Zealand a year ago for school. Skylines are ALL OVER, and for DIRT CHEAP. There are skyline models that are TWIN turbo, SINGLE, and NA! My buddy owns a non turbod one, simply ### it still looks exactly the same and was $10,000 less then a turbo model. Hes more about looks anyways then performance though. * but to each is his own *

ya i know i was looking at skylines and escort cosworths over there for sell and there are damn cheap... want to get one but the price to ship one of those to the us with taxes and all would be outrageous!!
