02 sensor question

I recently took my 02 sensor out and plugged it so I could run 110 at the track and run a little more boost without killing my 02 sensor. After a few days of having the 02 sensor out I noticed the car started stuttering when I went into boost and my wideband was maxed out and running extremely rich...I leaned out the safc and everything was fine, I got my AFR back where it needed to be...The next day the same thing happened and before I know it im at -27% correction and its still running rich. When I adjust the tune it keeps my AFR where it needs to be for a few hours of driving but then it richens up again.

Is not having an 02 sensor throwing my fuel trims off and causing this?

I thought the car would run in open loop at wot anyways so I thought I would be fine

you need a front o2 sensor. your correct about the wot thing but you would have to run it like that even at curise which a safc cant do

you can find out by putting the o2 sensor back

Yes. Put it back in.

The o2 sensor is what provides feedback on A/F ratio so yes you need it in. Honestly I'm surprised the car runs at all.
