What type of plate did you add? Has it given you any issues?
Well, I cut my own blockoff plate out of sheet metal. I was removing all emissions and what not. It did cause a problem of having to fill the tank at half pump speed vs full speed. Somewhere I made a thread of how to add other breathers to help it vent faster and fill at full speed again. You may just add a filter to the port if it's still in tact to avoid further work, and if it is not then remove the charcoal canister and add microfilters to the filler neck and vent port.
