Fuel upgrades are finally underway to catch anyone up we ran 10s on the stock 1990 fuel lines but were leaning out up top. So it was time to upgrade the lines to 8an and I switched to a Walbro 535 fuel pump. Just need to run the lines and swap the fuel rail next and it’s party time!

Put in some work in the garage yesterday on my day off and got the new fuel system plummed and Magnus fuel rail on. The car primed and had no leaks so I started it and it fired right up once the lines burped. I just need to adjust the base pressure up a bit for the new components and get fresh plugs in it and we’re ready to test for the Shootout I’m so excited to see everyone and race as usual!

How's your base fuel pressure with that banjo fitting on the rail? Some of those can be pretty restrictive.

It was at 40psi when I started the car with no changes on the 8an feed that fitting came with the rail I bought. I’m going to bump it up and then should be good to make some fueling adjustments to the tune but I wouldn’t suspect it should be too far off from where we were at last season. I have extra fittings if it is to become an issue I’ll swap them out.

Shootout update! Spun in q1 but when the night hit we went 10.89@139 in q2 I am ecstatic this car is absolutely ripping. Qualified Friday night for a change. Looking forward to ripping this car more all weekend!
