Has anyone tried to 3D print a set of these? Difficult to find in the yard of any resemblance to usable shape. Luckily I have a few mint sets. This is a usable pair for my beater 93. Out west the sun just kills this type of plastic.

I pulled a nice set from a junkyard with the intent of modeling them up. The longer I stared at them, the less I wanted to dive in on the task. :p

Maybe one day I’ll get around to it.

Hi guys,

I asked at least 4-5 shops locally that specialize in 3D printing, but they are all reluctant or refuse to model them without a file. One of them gave me a price of over €200, which is just too much for something like this.

Are there any alternatives to these parts? I can't seem to find anything.

The one that goes on the driver side is in better shape and made out of sturdier plastic, but the passenger side is dessolving. It looks like it isn't supposed to have any openings on it, so can that one be blocked off completely with something?

If you get to keep the file it may be worth it. you could print in color and sell them. that 200 would come back real quick

Sounds like a good idea, but I don't own a 3D printer 😀. Also, here in Bulgaria, there is no market for such parts. DSM's are very scarce. If I do end up getting a scan file, l'll
make sure to share it here.

This was an something I brought up in this thread but never got any interest. I ended up finding some good used ones here in the classifieds.

I'll see if I can also find some nicer ones, especially for the passenger side, as it shouldn't have any holes in it, then I'll spray them with Plasti Dip, they sell it here too.
Looks like this is the best option at this time.

Absolutely. It will look good and keep slow the aging of the material
Best of luck! post some before and after pics:)

I wet sanded them a bit, used Plasti Dip and PU sealant for the passenger side vent, as I hated looking at those crevices.
Overall, I'm happy with the end result, much better than before.
