Hey guys, long story short, my stock hood has a big dent in it that began to rust, so i kept my eye out for a good condition hood, found a brand new vented fiberglass cowl hood for cheap
, anyway, i lined it up, just to make sure it fit right. Fit very well, but i have one question, the vented cowl on the right side is above the MAF, i can look in and see it.
Im thinking that if it rains it would get wet (the MAF), thats not a good thing.
Should i just seal off that vent so i don't have to worry about it?
The left vent is almost right over my tubular EM, so that should help with venting the heat, and i don't think water getting in there would be a problem.
Ill try to get a pic up soon, if anyone would like a visual.
