I have an AWD with ABS intact. My last DSM was a FWD base model that I turbo swapped. The car is a "rescue" that I bought for a 40th old man birthday gift and to restore.

I replaced the master brake cylinder when I pulled the clutch pedal and replaced it. After bleeding all 4 calipers extensively, the ABS will trigger on a gravel road while moving at about 10 MPH, and doesn't quite "feel" right on dry pavement. I haven't STOMPED on the brakes yet since I've gotten it back on the street because of how it behaves on the gravel road at 10 mph.

Is there a way to activate the 1G ABS pump (other than a jumper cable from the battery to the pos terminal of the pump) and bleed each caliper? The Haynes manual doesn't have anything specific about that.

Bump (BAD bump) but I desperately need a solution otherwise I'll have to engineer my own. Hopefully somebody has something that already works.

Figured out the problem - there was ferrous "dust" on the two front ABS sensors. After removing it the car behaves normally.
