Thank you I wasn't quite sure on it since there was a o2 sensor bung right next to it.The resistors and for adjusting the readings of the sensor. I’m assuming that the car didn’t have a cat and they installed the resistors to adjust the readings to keep the CEL from being illuminated.

Nice find! Yeah ive had over 10 of these cars and most of them had that nice banged up floor. My talon had it all bent up i cut out the frame rail and floor and now its straight. I will be doing the same to this 95 also.My son and I just picked up this 95 gsx it's in rough condition so we are doing a full build as well. Was your driver side floor pan bent up at all? I noticed alot of the 2gS I looked at were. Thinking of bracing it after straightening it out.

Nice. Get after it! Can't wait to see another one saved! These poor cars didn't stand a chance.Well I got quite a bit done today. Transfer case and anything close by are all out and zero bolts snapped! I'm not quite sure why there are resistors attached to the downstream o2 sensor wires, if anyone knows I'd like to hear. I am also happy to see an lsd in the rear, I hope it's all in decent shape. Alot of the fluid I've dropped so far has been kind of ugly. Hopefully tomorrow the engine and trans will be out.

It looks like it was sitting for many years. My wrx was rust free from Texas, but I knew as soon as I saw this I couldn't pass it up. They always end up in the wrong hands.Nice. Get after it! Can't wait to see another one saved! These poor cars didn't stand a chance.
Thanks for posting this, it’s interesting to see another like mine. I’ve got a 95 also. I haven’t done any tuning to these so I’m unfamiliar in that realm but the 95 ecu is a plus?Well tonight I got the head off only because I was curious if there was anything done to the engine. To my surprise of course not just a nice china turbo. The only good parts so far have been a greddy bov, a 95 eprom ecu, and full 3 inch Megan racing exhaust. This thing was just about to be a drag monster, not quite! Thankfully the bore is standard so that's a plus in my eyes. Not really much of an update just showing as I make progress.

The 95 ecu I have is an early one that hasn't been swapped like most of them. You can have them socketed for ecm link, for tuning of course. I don't mind the blue but as I get older I like a more stock look. Even when I was 16 and got my 96 eclipse non turbo, I left the interior alone. I love how they look stock to be fair. As far as my rear disks I have not gotten that far yet but I'll definitely let you know when the tires come off, which will be soon here. Thanks for posting this, it’s interesting to see another like mine. I have that same same blue interior as yours also, I didn’t like it at first but it’s grown on me. I don’t see many others at all that color.
Does yours have the thicker rear discs? Just curious. Sweet build you’re doing.
I couldn't tell if it was blue or gray but it definitely looks more blue. I had to legit look up if it was an actual thing or you were being sarcastic. I do like the color the car has an early build date so it makes sense. What a unicorn. I've been hunting a white GSX with blue leather for a long time. I'd sell my Spyder in a heartbeat for one.
Yeah the stock blue, not that horrible spray paint job haha. I legit thought you meant the spray job so that was my bad. The interior has that weird blue hue to it but looks almost gray so that's what threw me off. I have so many spare parts I'm just going to replace it all with factory pieces. But I will try to get the paint off just so I have other spare original parts. I try not to throw anything away since there getting harder to find.Is the stock interior color kind of blue? It’s hard to tell in the pictures, in my other comment I had mentioned mine was blue and it definitely is a stock blue color but this is different level stuff. There’s nothing more trashy someone can do than to spray paint interior parts. I hate that. If it’s to restore a stock color or touch up that’s one thing. But man, bright blue.. yuck. Let me know if you figure out a good way to get that crap off.
I just read the other comments about the stock blue color. It’s a rare combo but that how mine is, white with blue interior. Yours is the only other one I’ve seen
Thank you! It was definitely a puzzle to figure out. I'm going to be using por 15 underneath for sure, I'm not to sure what my next step will be. I might do one layer underneath since they both had cracks, from either thin metal or stress. I'm far from a pro just learning as I go. If anyone has suggestions I'm all ears.Nice job on the welding. Those strut towers are like a 3D puzzle.
Are you using POR-15 on the exposed, and possibly rusty, layers of metal underneath the top hat?
My first DSM was a white/blue car. I've only ever seen 2 blue interiors in person. One was mine, and the other is the interior I just pulled from a junkyard for OP.Is the stock interior color kind of blue?
