Thanks for the lack of help my friend... Obviously I searched first. Also, thanks for the very helpful link to my own thread!:thumb:
I appreciate you attemt to help me, I really do but, please let the mods be mods.

Anyways, if you read my post I asked if anyone has painted it a COLOR and can PROVIDE A PICTURE.

In none of those threads is there any talk of a color schemed transmission, except for the last one. But that was just someones idea, and nothing else was mentioned. Also, there are no pictures in any of those threads.

So now that that is covered...

My transmission was painted in my gs. Had to take it out because the morons just looped a rubber hose on the inlet/outlet for the cooler lines and never put it back correctly so my transmission became unhappy. It was this blue-y color but it looked like crap because it was all peeling and chipping off.

Just out of morbid curiosity, why do you want to paint yours?

Yea people make mistakes and post links to the wrong thread....Ill think again about making that mistake:thumb:

Has anyone ever painted there trans. a color? Maybe to match the valve cover?
Pics if you did.

Look at what your wrote

Has anyone ever painted there trans. a color?

YES

Maybe to match the valve cover?

Maybe, yes most likely people people like to match colors.

So now that thats covered, I think you can ask more appropriate questions to get the answer you want. the more detailed a question the more detailed answer can be given, you just asked if anyone has and if maybe it matches their valve cover.

If you want to know a color scheme that people have used, why not ask for engine bay color scheme that match a painted transmission case.

Edit: hey op, I did some searching and found this link, look the trans matches the valve cover. This link was in my search results for "dsmtuners transmission paint"

My fathers 3000gt has the tranny painted red to match his car color and I personally think it looks good like that. Blends right in. Of course it was out of the car when it got painted. It was not professionally done but you cant see ALL of the tranny with all the lines and such covering it. But this was a 6G72 auto trans.

Well, I'm putting my new trans. flywheel, and clutch in next weekend and I just wanted to see if anyone had pics of a valve cover/transmission matching color scheme just to get an idea about how it looks under the hood.

:ohdamn: LOL, I'm looking for a picture of it man! I'm well aware that people have done it, thus, I make a thread to find those people and hopefully get a picture of a color schemed valve cover/trans. And I'm talking like, red, black, blue. Not silver or alluminum paint.

So, Thank you for modderating my thread!:thumb: And unless you have pics of what I'm looking for, your help is no longer needed here.:)

EDIT: Thank you for posting a pic. You turned out to actually be very helpful. I appologize for being an ass. :thumb:

LOL I appologize again, felt like an ass after I saw the pictures you posted.

Finally got some paint on it, prepping was a PITA though, took a couple days, Some easy off oven cleaner, can of gunk, and couple cans of brake clean. I like how it looks so far, gonna put another coat on tonight.

Looks Good. I had my trans painted once. And now with this build I just bead blasted the whole thing. Loooks brand new from the factory(maybe even better) LOL. but yours looks good. cant wait to see it in the bay.

I'd suggest against painting it black. No matter how much wiring I tuck, that side of my engine bay looks like a deep, dark abyss. I've been tempted to pull the transmission just to fix the eye sore.

Black can be a bad thing especially in a black car.

A cast aluminum or dark grey color would look best imo.

Got it in the car yesterday, I love how it looks. Some pics:
