91 F150; been meaning to address a leaking axle seal on the 8.8 rearend. This quickly turned into a surprising and more time consuming ordeal during disassembly. For those who have had an open diff apart....the floating bolt piece is what...

Currently has a Walbro 535 in the fuel cell, I bought a Magnafuel 750 to go on it instead but I'm kinda leaning towards mechanical now.First outing won't be trying to make a lot of power so I might just leave the 535 for the time being.

I have been having some weird cooling issues. Link is reading sporadic temps near 220, kicking the fan relay on/off rapidly. This is while its 65 and cloudy driving on the freeway.I honestly cannot remember how old these coolant sensors are...

Journal update: I got my bottom end assembled finally but upon inspection the end result was a bitter sweet. My build was a base OEM standard bore with stock 2g Nippon pistons and rings coupled with beefier Scat rods, original 7 bolt polished...

Better protection for the oil hoses if the fittings on the cooler are facing up.

The other point I'd like to make is that the fuel global itself isn't very precise. IIRC, In the factory code it's only 8 bits and scaled in a way that makes the normal smaller injectors more accurate but as you get larger the jump from one...

Mine just always had a small leak on the timing. Side of the pan. And then it just got worse to the point where it was making literal puddles. These would work pretty well if there was a steel core in them, I think. But I just went back to RTV...

Results. This is with the high output SPAL fan on (comes on at 175deg F) and it was also pretty warm outside so this is looking pretty good and will only be better once I extend the sensing wire to the battery...which is in the trunk. :rocks...

I completed the Saturn alternator swap this weekend using a Remy remanufactured alternator from a 96 Saturn SC I got from RockAuto. I tested the old OEM alternator and it failed and I had this new one tested and it passed. I used the same Jay kit...

These gaskets. They look great fit great but they always leak. I tried one myself from a Solo guy here (Aaron something or another?) and mine leaked real bad. You tighten it down too much and you'll bend your oil pan flange it will never seal...

There could be very many things wrong with your setup. Do you still have access to the stock MAF or EVO MAF? Use that as a baseline and get the car to run with it on the stock MAP so that you can eliminate 1000 other things being the issue. Do a...
