i've reset the nitrous management unit several times to try to fix this problem, but still no luck. instead of it spraying ONLY at WOT, it's spraying all the time, from the first second it get's power, it's pshhhhhhh. i confirmed my suspicion by flipping the switch while idling at a stoplight, and i heard the solenoids click, heard the pshhh, then i closed the switch, and my idle got funky for a couple seconds (probably from the ECU adjusting for the unexpected fuel and then dying after not getting it). i thought about rigging a ghetto physical switch to the gas pedal, but that's too cheapo for me. any ideas as to what the hell is going on? i don't want it spraying between shifts OMG

by reset do you mean recalibrate it? hmm... i dunno im having problems with the tps part of it too.

yeah, basically "re-teaching" the NMU when WOT is. its wierd, my tps signal at WOT is 4.4volts, so its programmed to open the solenoids at 4.4volts. maybe at idle it's not far away enough from 4.4 for the nmu to see a difference. i know it has a wide range that it can accept as WOT. i need to figure this out quick, or i'm gonna start losing to the civics and accords around here again :(

yea it does have a wide range. my problem is i got a CEL for low TPS sensor voltage. and it idled funny. i unplugged the zex line from the tps line and it cleared up for now, but the zex still sprayed at WOT, even with the low voltage

how is spraying while shifting? i really dont care if it sprays all the time when the switch is flipped, i'm just worried about the split seconds i'm in neutral while shifting, don't want a blown motor or anything. i think i might just have to do a physical switch on the gas pedal, like a metal tab on the gas pedal and a metal tab on the floor that completes a ground signal to the ZEX box. with the switch giving it a 12v source, it would just only spray when the pedal is to the floor. that's so ghetto though :thumbdown :| :rolleyes:
 
For the Zex people,
I am still un-decided about NX or ZEX, I see you all are having a few hiccups here with the nex, do you wish you had the nx system?

Atleast with the NOS or NX kits you can take the system apart for cleaning, their are small screens inside some of the adapter lines with the NOS kits to catch teflon tape of past to stop them from cloging a jet or being sprayed into your engine.
