Help!!! Two nights ago I was going down the highway, hit full boost at 10 psi in third, shift to 4th and then nothing. goes from 19 inchs of vacumm to zero vacum/boost. Pulled the turbo, a 14b, apart and the shaft has almost no play, maybe 1/8inch. a little bit of oil in the charge pipes. I pulled off the charge pipes, revd the motor and didnt feel any boost pressure from the turbo. what could of happened. no grinding, no massive oil leaks, no oil in the coolant, compression is good, car runs just fine, except that it does not make ANY boost at all. please help.

yes, arm is connected to the flapper, flapper/wastegate is closed and can be unhooked and moves very easily.

Which moves very easily the wastegate arm or the flapper arm. Start your car and have someone rev it while you watch the turbo out front. make sure that the flapper is completely closed before the rev, then watch while revving to see if the flapper is moving. Also are all your manifold to turbo bolts snug. i had one missing and a loose one before and I would boost at all by free revving it. Just some food for thought.
