My favorites from A-Z (pick your favorite one or how many do you know?):
A) Broken at least 2 door handles.
B) Gotten lower headlight assembly bolt in/out without removing bumper.
C) Figured out how to remove the 2g center timing cover without cracking it by only removing 2 of the 3 drivers side engine mount bolts (so 3rd holds engine up).
D) Rebuild tranny 3 times because always getting a worn shift fork causing shifter popouts before finally figuring out it's due to the skateboard bearing mod in tranny end shift cables.
E) Figuring out what the "generator relay" is for and why it always is destroyed in our cars.
F) That the starter relay actually disables the starter in most versions.
G) Knowing where the clutch disable switch really is.
H) Knowing where the stock Infinity radio head unit ground really is.
I) That forgetting the lower backwards facing tranny/engine bolt contributes to crankwalk.
J) Finding out the result the hard way of putting the fan pulley halves on backwards.
K) The result of forgetting the tranny backup switch washer or using wrong thickness.
L) Figuring out that all the extremely complicated timing belt tension procedure can be replaced with just making the grenade pin to slide easily in the hole.
M) When you break your 18" breaker bar trying to get the axle nut loose.
N) That the clutch fork swivel point wears down, not the pivot ball.
O) That to loosen the tranny gear stack, placing it in 2 gears at once works way better than stuffing all your rags or coins between gears.
P) That unplugging the front O2 sensor harness connector is unfathomable.
Q) The fun of getting the 2g VSS connector (and its clip, ha, ha) on.
R) That the fuel pump ground connection is really under the drivers seat.
S) Your cursing of not buying the EuroExport spring compressor tool when installing valve stem seals.
T) Finding out it takes 6 revs to line up all the timing marks after you put the spark plugs back in.
U) Figuring out how to get the Room Lamp fuse out.
V) Putting the B belt tensioner pulley lip on backwards wearing down the belt edge.
W) You install the alt belt before the PS belt.
X) You break your finger trying to get the stock air box clip on - you know the one.
Y) You run out of glue constantly trying to fix the broken top timing belt cover bolt hole - you know the one.
Z) And the best one: That after both tearing the ball joint boots during ball joint disconnect and removing the axle nuts to get the drive axles out for a 2g tranny removal, you discover my post showing you didn't need to disconnect the ball joints or axle nuts at all.
