What kind of subwoofer setups do most DSMers use?

I've seen pictures of the subs set in the trunk floor and I've seen sub boxes between the rear strut towers.

But what kind of boxes do you guys use?

I've been looking for a pair of those! Are they custom?

Tis custom. Fiberglassed to fit with a 10" W3V3 in there. The other side isn't quite as deep as the right side of the trunk so I only have that one in there. Not going to win me any SPL awards, but it sure does sound nice.

I use a huge box for my 15, i use straps anchored to the strut towers to keep it from moving. The setup I am currently building is much more stable. Pull that cheap cardboard flooring out of the trunk, cut a piece of mdf a little bit smaller than that then build your box into it. It really sucks to remove, but it is great otherwise.

I made a post in the Pictures area called Post Your Trunks, lots of good idea's. I like sub setups that don't eliminate the trunk space. In reality you don't need such a huge box for huge bass. Most subs require very little space vs the size of most boxes which are pre made. I like the sub setups people have posted here. I currently have done a few of the floorboard boxes at my old shop with small 10's or 12's that have hit soo hard people with extremely large systems were jealous and have complained about their systems.

My current setup is a small 10" in a truck box until I make my own.

In all my years of thinkin I had bump... this setup in the back of my G1 is where it's at! m12d2 subs (made of kevlar and 60oz magnets) and pr 1.500 amps to match.. and a 5 farad cap.... this ish hits so hard it makes it difficult to breathe and impossible to use a rear view mirror....

undebateable, without question, MEMPHIS!
