I decided that I'm fed up with the stocker, after it lost psi on me after 5500.

I got a k&n, type-s, L&Uicp, and the free mods. I was hoping to put the turbo off until I got a 3" turbo /w hi-flow cat, TT and MBC on, but my patience is gone with the t25.

I want an all around fast car, and might autox or road race. 400whp is the goal.

The reason why I'm asking for a match-up is because I know nothing about turbos. Trims, housings, etc. etc. Don't even know the difference between the internal and external 'gated stuff.

Thanks for the help.

T28 would be a nice upgrade for a 2G (very similar to the 16G in a performance aspect). Fast spool up and nice pull to redline. You wont get 400whp from a T28, but it would be a great auto X turbo and you would have an "all around fast car" if you think 12's is fast.

No, you can get well over 400hp out of a T28, and even more with a T28killer...but you are going to wan't to make sure you have the support mods to go along with it.....injectors, fuel pump, MBC, are all things your gonna need before you turn that turbo up.

maybe not a dyno sheet but i heard buschar has a awd with the t28killer and it can do 22lbs to redline no problem and spools alot faster than a 16g, and has hit low 12's with it. im pretty sure its buschar but not 100%. do some searches.

Spools alot faster than a 16G huh? I guess the 16G is just a laggy turbo.

It's almost impossible to spool faster than a B16G with supporting mods. You would literally need to hit full boost in mid-throttle to spool faster than it, because if you knew how the B16G performed, you would know that you basically have full boost as soon as you gas it. B16G wont even break a sweat at 22psi to redline and tons of people have hit low 12's on pump gas with it (some have done 11's on race gas).

This just founds my statement that the B16G (should've stated BIG not small) and the T28 are two very similar turbo's performance wise. Since this guy has a 2G, he should opt for the T28 obviously because it is a direct bolt on for a 2G (for the 16G you need an adaptor kit for it to fit).

first of all the forced performance bigt28 and the turbochargers.com bigt28killer support around 380 hp at the crank. They are made to spool faster then the 16g and other non-ballbearing varients.

I run autocross and i have the bigt28killer. unless you have the supporting mods to run 17psi or more i would wait on the downpipe. I'm running the stock downpipe and cat and don't have creep issues. It will hurt you spool alot though untill you upgrade.

If you want more then 400 crank hp then you should get a big16g or look at the bigger turbo's. However for autocross you won't really need any more then the bigt28's can give you.

I'm not as familiar with them but alot of guys on here talk about the PTE turbo's so maybe you should search on here for them.
