Yet another Day without my GST

OK install of my new engine was suppose to take 1 week. After about $1000 in parts it now at 3 weeks and counting.
Got a new:
-Clutch
-rotors
-brake pads
-caliper
-resufaced flywheel
-CAS
-radiator
-hoses
-coil pack
-ignition wires
-spark plugs
-battery
-and other lil things.

Today I drove the car and it boosted up nicely and it was running fine. After changing the CAS we got a check engine light that said it was still the CAS so we cleared it and it still hasnt come back all day, but he wants to keep it another day!!!!!!!!!! I have been hearing "lemme keep it another day" for the last 3 weeks. Im so MAD!!!!!!!!!! I just want my car back, its running fine, dumb ECU is beign ### and he keeps saying lemme keep it another day. This is getting fraustrating. Sorry I had t vent. I punched a hole in my desk cabinet im so mad.

Don't get too mad over it, even though I did that when my car was in the shop forever. Mine went in the shop the first week of January for a 50trim upgrade in place of the blown T25. I just got it back yesterday, it was unreal. The thing you gotta do is keep calling them and asking if it's readt yet, and when you can go down and visit the car and hang around the shop. Keep on their backs.

I havent had mine since The beginning of OCT...I am use to it now...for the first month though I was going through withdraws then once I got pass that it was fine

My GST was down for more than half a year and it didnt bother me at all.

Yea I guess I should calm down, oh yea today he says the NEW CAS needs to be replaced because the CODE came back. He said it was defective...... So hee said it should be ready monday.....FREAKIN MONDAY!!!!!! because he is waiting on the sensor. This is fraustrating. ANOTHER Weekend without my car. Its basically stock and I drove it Weds. and it remind me of how hard turboed cars pull compared to others...especailly if u have been driving a Neon for 7 months. I hope its just the sensor.

You need to ask him to take off the oil pan and check for CRANK WALK....the ECU is not suppose to come on for crank angle if the car is running fine and not missing or loosing power..be ware of the crank spell.

doubt its crank walk, that would make it a record for crankwlk starting. the motor has about 4 miles on it

Just don't let him drive it otherwise it could end up like one of the guys on here who had there dsm engine blow on them a few hours after driving the car from the mechanic. (mechanic abused it). Don't let yours do that to you.

yea I drove it all thrusday, no problem. I bring it back and he says its having a hard time starting up and needs anotherr CAS. We think its a short. But I dont want to have to take it to the dealer.

Its fixed, he cleared the code and it started working
