...but getting closer to being done...

new problem...
the car's firing order is correct but when revved it sounds like it isnt...when it revs to 3500rpm it starts sputtering and wont rev and higher...when the car is drivin it has no power at all...

could it be plugs?clogged injectors?(my budys car sounded and acted similar when it had clogged injectors...) the motor ran fine before i did the motor swap it didnt run crappy til after the swap...

i did have to swap alot of 91 parts onto the 90 motor the list is:
91 coil pack
91coil pack ignitor
91 throttle body with all 91 electrical connections
91 fuel rail
90 injectors

i did have to cut my harness on the 91 the harness had a broken injector clip so i cut one off my 90's harness and soldered it onto my 91's harness...could i have possibly soldered the connections backwards?

thanks in advance

i just adjusted my timing through its full range and it didnt help it rev any higher or the car run better...

i think im going to pull the soldered injector clip off the injector and see if it runs the same...i think i wired it backwards...

does it sound like a fuel related issue?

ok so i worked on the car some more today...

it isnt running any better tho...i pulled the plugs and put some off a spare motor i have at my house...the car ran worse when i did that...

i really dont want to cut my harness for my injectors if it might be something else...i pulled the clip off it today to see if it made a difference but the car just died...

anyone please...gtm?
