OK, here is the detailed description to what my problem is. I just finished putting my 6 bolt back into my car. I have had it started but ran into several problems which caused me to change several parts. I had to change the alternator, and got the car started after that. I changed the downpipe and got the car after that. Most recently I changed the valve that the fuel pressure regultor and my boost gauge are teed too. In that process I disconnected the coil pack and put the coil pack back. The car will not start, it turns and it back fires but will not start. A knowledgeable friend told me that it may be my timing, but I don't understand how my timing could be off if it was correct before. I also have noticed that my timing marks are still lined up on my cam gears which leads me to doubt its the timing. My first 2 guesses are the cas, or the coil pack. I didn't really do anything with the cas until it wouldn't start. I then proceeded to remove it and re-install it. I also have a hard time believing its the coil pack but at this point I am open to all suggestions. I need to get this car started asap. Thanks in advance for the help.

Since you havn't been actually driving the car the alternator wouldn't be chargign the battery...could you have drained the battery from all the starting?

I agree with you that I don't know how the timing would have changed by messing with the coilpack. Did you connect the spark plug wires back in the correct order? Otherwise you're car is trying to send a spark to the wrong plug at the wrong time but no know it.

It was the coil pack firing order. I had to reverse it from what is actually on the coil pack for some reason.
