I have a 95 talon tsi I'm not familiar with compatible shells and I'm unfamiliar with the DSM forums however I just became a member. Can you swap a awd talon tsi to a FWD talon shell. My tsi shell is rough and the talon shell is OK at a low price im just looking for a yes or no and maybe some pointers.

Yes, you can swap a 2G AWD drivetrain into a clean 2G FWD chassis. However, it's not a simple plug and play ordeal but since you already have the AWD car you won't have to go looking for odds'n'ends if you undertake this project. You are gonna have to search swapped AWD 2G because you have to modify your chassis to accommodate the AWD rear subframe and tunnel for the driveshaft.

Not very clear. Are you using your 95 Tsi to swap parts into a different FWD shell?

There is TSi AWD, TSi FWD, and ESi (Non-turbo FWD)

It will be alot more work to make AWD parts fit in an ESi since the motor is on the other side.

You'll have to do a lot of fabrication. Yes you can swap an awd drivetrain into a fwd, the real question is if you're willing to put that much work and time into it. There have been many people who converted fwd cars into awd. Search button!

I recommend finding an awd shell and going from there.
