Xfer case question

I have a 95 Talon Tsi and i was just drivin and it started to jerk pretty violently. Long story short, my xfer case is taking a poop. Well i called Chrysler and they told me via my vin number that there is no recall on my case......only on the abs?!???!!! WTF>! So um.....what do i do about this?

2nd question (why this thread is here instead of in the hang out).....can i put a 1g transfer case in a 2g vehicle or is the imput shaft/gear ratio different? I need some serious help!

Yeah they are real tight about fixing our cars for free... Get the corporate phone # from chrysler and talk to a service rep about the recall... That is what i did, the service rep even got the new transfer case fed ex'd the same day to the dealership and everything was fixed for free... btw my car is non abs also! Don't settle for no!

Well i concluded something today, you cant use a 1g case on a 2g car. Maybe a 1gb, but definitely not a 91, even if it has 23 splines, the case is completely different and wont line up although the splines are the same :-< pfft
