I got a Xfer case im going to sell to a guy on here and I'm not sure what kind it is so if anyone could tell me which years DSM's will this fit into that would be great because I don't want to rip the guy off who is buying it...

I need to know if it will work for what years...

all you need to do is count the number of splines on the input shaft...it should be either 22 or 23...

OK... now from that I can nail it to being an early or late model 2G then?

Well, I count 22 splines. Looks like this is a 91-94 t-case. Damn.

I would still like to know how you tell the 95-96 t-case from a 96.5+. The spline count is the same, so WTF is different?!

A local DSMer said as long as the input shaft has the same # of splines it should work.

he also said you can get a adapter if its not the right # of splines...
