Wrong Supra SMIC?

So I goofed and bought a "Supra" SMIC off eBay for $20 before double checking that it was the TT one. Is this thing even worth paying shipping on or should I just have the dude keep it and try to work a deal? Will it actually fit a DSM and is it any bigger than the stock SMIC?

Its a hell of a lot thicker, but isnt that the one that you're supposed to buy for our cars?? Let me do some searchin, Ill let you know what I find.

EDIT: All the supra sidemounts Ive found are like the ones in this thread, I cant seem to find one with your style sidemount. The inlet on all the ones I see are located on the bottom of the IC. I dont think that inlet will fit into the wheel well, it looks like its not going to fit.

I think that is the one people usually get. I'm not sure if the one I got is any better than the stock and don't know how it will fit...

Right, I personally dont think that you can squeeze that inlet into the front of the fender there, it looks like its going to strike the wall and poke itself out rediculously, not to mention trying to find a way to route the IC piping to get to it like that, Id say try and have him keep it, looks like too much of a hassle to try and fit.

So I've been searching google for pictures of stock supra intercoolers and can't find any that look like this one. Is this dude lying to me and selling an IC from something completely different? The intercooler is stamped Toyota...

that intercooler is from the aristo. its a ### car only and it uses the 2jzgte.

Lexus GS300 here, they come with the 2jzGTE in Japan.

Ahhh... so just to clarify then, it was still not going to work for my DSM without serious modification, right? It looks tiny compared to the Supra SMIC.

no it wont work with the dsm. it would take a whole new set of endtanks and it still might not work. the supra smic is hard enough to install to begin with.
