I've been having issues with my car not idling right. I hooked up my logger and it read an error 44, indicating a bad coil pack. I went to my local performance parts store. I figured it would be a good time to upgrade since I had to replace it anyway. I got my coil pack today. However when I got it home and opened it, the thing looks nothing like what my spark plugs connect to. There is only one place I see that a spark plug wire could connect. How does this thing work anyway?

That coil is for a points style ignition or similar found in older v6s and v8s.
Have you ever looked at your coil on your car?WTF
Code 44 doesn't necessarily mean your coil or transistor are bad. If they were completely shot, the car wouldn't run.

yeah I know what my coil pack looks like. LOL That's why I was completely confused by what they sold me. They ordered it, so I didn't see it until I got home. When I picked it up, it was in a shipping box. Guess I'll be taking it back sometime this week. Any idea what the actual part number would be for a coil pack?
