Would you ever buy a fuel pump off ebay?

I wouldn't buy knock off walboro's.... Some of them will work for 5 minutes and some will work for years. They are hit and miss! I was looking at some the obx inline pumps because they where featured in Dsport and they supported BIG numbers but nobody here has used them.

I've personally seen that fuel pump lean out an engine and smoke all the pistons and rings. This was on a car with an 18g @ 20psi with all the supporting mods. It didnt take long to destroy the engine.

Wally 190/255 kits aren't much more than 80 bucks WITH a rewire kit.

I don't see a point in not buying a well known fuel pump.

To be honest, you can look at the other ebay searchs and threads and see what people are willing to use, this is not one of those things.

What I suggest is that you purchase it and give a review on it, that's the best way to get results/quantitative information about how the pumps functions. Its risky because of the damages that can occur. No pain no gain I guess.

Last option is just get some quality products and don't be cheap about your build. Wally 255 is good for 500hp and is used in most applications on this site. Its not worth a difference of 60 bucks to destroy your engine.

I wouldn't even try using the ebay model you listed, even as a test. I would hook it up to a flow meter and have it run constantly to see what happens. No reason to risk your motor for an extra $40.

Those cost just as much (if not a little more) than a real walbro. Don't waste your time.
