would this oil cap work?

ive been looking for a new oil cap that doesnt spray oil all over the damn place. would this one work? if not, any other cheap suggestions? i want something that doesnt look stupid and yet, works.

It should work, but my friend told me that you can bring your old oil cap to any autostore and buy a gasket that fits over it and it will seal tight. Its going to be a little harder to twist on, but it keeps all the oil inside the valve cover. Talking about that, I think I'm going to go there to get it soon.

the reason i ask is because i dont have access to my car right now and i dont know if it is a twist type or any other kind. like how does our oil cap go on?

It looks like to me it should work. Our caps dont have threads on them. they come off liek a radiator cap. I just bought a brand new TRUST/Greddy one. It was hella expensive, but the gasket is some sort of silicon rubber stuff.....i am not sure, but it wont leak, EVER AGAIN! so i figured i get it! good luck

JiveMasterT, I have that cap, and no leaks for me, cheap to, works fine and is really tight
