I have a 16g and a 190lph fuel pump ready for installation.

Can I install them and NOT tune the car? I dont have an safc.

If I keep it under 13 psi would it be fine? Also, would this be an improvement over the t25 at 15psi?
 
yes you are fine. You only need to tune if you are putting in bigger injectors. If you were putting in a 255plh pump i would suggest an afpr but since that is not the case, you are good to go.
 
In order to run a safc you will need a logger as well. Its not as simple as setting the injector size because all cars are different. I have heard that safcs are a little outdated anyways, you may try and get a flashable ecu since you are a 99. Try searching for tuning options for more details. O and a narrowband doesn't do you any good, you will be a lot safer with a wideband. You good probably tune to 18 psi without a wideband fairly safely though. it's not the best option, but its doable.
 
I would wait till you get something to tune with. Don't be like me and just put the 16g and turn the boost up and blow the motor
 
Well I won't turn the boost up without bigger injectors anyway. 13psi is all the stockers will handle I have heard.

Anyways, do I need an eprom ecu in order to use the logger? or is that just for dsmlink?

So, If I put in new bigger injectors, I would want the following products as well:
safc
logger
wideband

is that right?

Eprom is only used for dsmlink

What size injectors are you going to be running? If they are 680 or lower than an safc will do. If they are higher than that look in to a different tuning option.
You'll need the logger and wideband.

Ok thx, last question and then I'll search for everything else.

If I do all that and have new injectors, datalogger, safc. What is the max boost I can go up to SAFELY? I figure it would depend on the other mods of the car but correct me if I am wrong. Also, what would the next roadblock be in the car to make it quicker? Internals?
 
well lets say your tuning properly and arn't limited by fuel or your 680 injectors then you would probably run around 25 psi since i believe that is the optimal range for a 16g. You could get away with a healthy motor since you won't be putting out more than 400 hp. You may want to put in some arp headstuds to make sure you don't blow your head gasket.

From there, whatever is left on the upgrade path and replacing parts you break :)
 
Lol thats not bad at all, for a while I had a rewired 255 w/ afpr, 272's on stock cam gears, Big 16g and FP race mani, 1G throttle body, Punishment IC, and 450;s all untuned, it was pretty bad for gas mileage...
