My knock sensor is toast...deteriorating and whatnot. Would this cause the car to run lean or hit fuel cut? I am about to replace my O2 Sensor to weed that out. My plugs are white, exhast side of the turbine has white on it. O2 sensor is white and looks original and old as hell. Replacing with a Denso unit. But what about the knock sensor?

I got one on the way. Hope this fixes the problem, along with the new O2 sensor. Guess we will see!
