So the other night after fixing a couple things on my car I took it out for a spin. Everything was going good until I blew a coupler off, so I pull over and wedge it back on to try and limp it home. About a block away the coupler pops off so I pull over shut the car off and get it back on again. While doing this I had the fan on it shut off and kinda heard a noise from the ecu like a click. So I go to start it up and it won't start so I'm like wtf. So run home pull the car back to my house. Checked for fuel got that, but have no spark so I get the laptop and hook it up to dsmlink and it won't connect says it times out. So I reset the battery and still a no go.
So I pull the ecu out and open it up but don't see anything that looks bad in it like a burn or anything.
So I am guessing the ecu is bad, but why would it get screwed up if the only thing that I heard was the fan shutting off which is controlled by the ecu in the first place?
