Engine has fuel pressure to the rail, spark, compression and a good timing belt.

Today I went to drive the car out of my driveway and when I got about 50ft away from the house, the engine just died. It made a squeel noise as it died, almost like something froze on the surpentine. Nope, everything spins freely. I checked spark, fuel, and all fuses.

Now what?!? I have pressure going into the fuel rail, but how do I see if the injectors are firing? Ive checked all fuses however, if the injectors arent firing, would be an electrical issue. All the conenctors and wiring throughout the car is near perfect, no rigging, or other electrical "fix its" performed... so I dont know where to go from here. The engine cranks fine, but doesnt even pretend to try and fire.

Where should I go next? The car threw no codes. I can only suspect injectors from here.

I just realized that the side of the rail that I was checking was the opposite side of the FPR and the fuel was not comming out of the rail, but out of the return line. Is this normal?

Im starting to think the fuel pump is to blame since when I turn the key to ON, I do not hear the fuel pump prime.

have you checked spark? fuel should flow from the passenger side of the fuel rail to the fpr to the return line when it is being pumped.

The pump is pumping, but its very weak. I took the pump out of the tank and turned the key on, nothing. Then I turned the ignition over, and the pump had a VERY weak, and faint hum. This is with it out of the tank. I bought a new pump, it will be in at 3:30. I hope its the problem.
