Here's my problem. I came outside to start my car, cool. I go to the store and when I come back, it wont start, or even turn over. I just bought a new altenator, battery, and starter for the car so I dont think that its any of those things. I am having a lot of body work done including solenoids. Does anyone think I could have grounded out my electrical system, or were would I start to try to fix the problem? I read all the most of the other articles I could find with the same prob. but I didnt find any of it useful. I need help and fast!

Maybe some piece of electric equipment is staying on--a few weeks ago the little plastic screw on the brake pedal assembly broke off for me. It was the thickness of this screw that succeeded in pushing in the button to turn OFF the brake lights when the pedal wasn't pushed in! So my brake lights would stay on and drain the battery. It may not be something this obvious, but if you can charge up your battery with a portable charger (from wal-mart, or jump the car), you should examine every dome light, every exterior light, anything that could drain the battery with a fine tooth comb! Good luck :thumb:

Do you have a turbo timer? Loose battery cable? Can you pop the clutch and it runs?

Very similar, the clutch pedal also has a screw type thing that pushes in a button that is the circuit to the starter (hence why you must push the clutch in to start car). It's worth a shot just to go under the dash with key in, press that button with your finger and try to start the car. It happened to me, so that's about the first thing I check now when my car doesn't want to start.
