This is for my 2G Talon with a 6 bolt swap. First let me say, there's no boost leak, tested for that. I checked all the vacuum lines, my gauge even says I'm at 20 vacuum, the compression on all cylinders is 150+. Now, here's my problem, it wont rev past 4k or so. When I do try to it sounds like the engine is giving it all its got, I tried accelerating with me foot all the way down, it goes to 4k and still its moving maybe 15mph on first gear, 2nd gear goes to about 25, ect. All this while the turbo spools to 10 psi and holds it like its nothing.
I haven't been taking it out for a while, its been sitting there for quite some time (I've been warming it up, ect. The gas it still has in the tank, which is almost empty now, has been in there for at least 10 months.) while I try to fix it but nothing seems to be working. When I take 1 step forward it knocks me back a block and its just starting to get really irritating. My wife is doing everything in her power so I don't get rid of the car but it seems like the shit keeps piling up and I'm just starting to lose hope in it.
I have a lot of money tied up into it, in the past 2 months alone I've put at least $800 into this car and it seems to be going no where. I have a daughter now and just cant keep dumping money into a car that seems to refuse being fixed.
Could it be the really old gas? Or something else? I'm really at the end of my rope when it comes to it.
Edit: Also I'm burning blue/white-ish smoke when I accelerate.
