Can anyone tell me approximately how much horsepower I'd be putting out of a 96 RS with the following mods: AEM cold air, high flow throttle body, throttle body spacer, Pacesetter headers, high-flow cat-converter, high flow muffler. I want to know how much horsepower this would make so I know if its worth it or not to go this route instead of turbo charging. Thanks.

u might want to add alot to ure mod list if u want to make a n/t fast

p.s. jayden1 where u giving him crank or wheel hp?

Well considering the 420A is already at 140 from the start...You are probably looking at around 155-160 BHP. Keep in mind that is BHP not WHP, that 140 mark the 420A puts down from the start is a BHP reading, not WHP. So in all actuality u may only be putting down around 135-140 to the WHEELS after those mods. :dsm:

WHAT!? LOL ure only giving 5hp for the mods he mentioned?

EDIT: jaktheripper if im gonna help ya out u gotta research ure shit. Pacesetter, well imma let u find out about that one ureself  , if ure gonna get a hi-flow cat and muffler y dont u just get the cat0back? , tb spacer is garbage from what i hear, :dsm:

yep 5 horse. i think that would mainly come from the cai. like those mods are really gonna add alot of horse. you can have all the horsepower you want torque is what gets you going. LOL!

torque is what wins races, hp is what sells cars

P.S. hes got a header there too

nah, decide what kinda of power you want out of your car first. If you want serious power out of the 420a then save your money for a turbo kit. If you just want a faster car then go with the mods listed above.

hehe, yea im not looking for an insane amount of hp. I am just looking for mods i listed above, so i can own other ppl (not ALL but quite a few)

oh if u want a basic tuning guide u can try the one on this forum, or go to www.2gnt.com under sections n under stages go to power stages, hope this helps
