stafford,
Im going to purchase a ported 1st gen head and install my HKS 264/272 cams, but I need to know if larger injectors are required than 550's. I have a Big 16G and I want to tune it around~ 22 lbs of boost.

I also know there are some type of ball bearing injectors. Can anyone explain the purpose of these to me please?

Thanks alot,

Martin

But there are people that run the big 16g with 550's at 20 lbs. What I need to know is if I add the cams, will more fuel flow need to be added also? Larger injectors than 550s? And what are the ball bearing injectors for?

Thanks alot,

Martin

550's should be fine. Every car is different though, keep that in mind. I run HKS 264/272 cams with my ported FP Big28 and supporting mods, including RC 550's. I personally had to add a little more fuel up top, but that is usually normal when you increase air flow, and that's what cams do. :)

With Crower stage I and EVOIII 16G@20psi I see as high as 93-94% D/C with 550's.
