Hey Dan, I made one of those boost leak testers and something must be not right. I take off my intake, I atach the tester to my turbo, and I pump it with a ball pump. I get absolutly no reading on my boost guage? Do I need to disconnect or plug something up? Does it make a difference if I have a electronic boost controler?
Thanks
Doug

Use an air compresser. You wont be able to pump enough pressure with a little ball/bike pump. I had the same problem. Used an air compressor then turned it off and listened for leaks. I have none. :D

i need to cut some shit to make that intercooler fit, I think i can get away w/o moving my A/T cooler :p

Be sure the air compressor has a regulator and I wouldn't go over the boost pressure you plan on running. I test mine at 25psi but then again I'm boosting that much too. Watch the PSI guage too as the pressure has a tendency to creep up.

oh man ryan on stock boost you couldnt really tell any diffrence but when i turned it up holy crap!!! it moves now :sneaky: :thumb:

My buddy just got a jdm cyclone motor from H&H autoparts/A+ Foreign in Sussex. Really pretty nice people. I am sure they can also rebuild a motor or know of people who can rebuild them and will do a good job.
