Well considering Alex works on DSMs and I believe you do too, what is there to worry about?

Sounds good, we could all meet at my business and head over to Perkins or perhaps maybe grill out in front of my business or something. We could start an annual DSM get-together. Have someone with a nice system play some music and i could bring my grill and it will be a good time. Now all we have to worry about is our dam DSM's breaking down. :rocks:

Either pm me or my brother for directions or any other questions as well.
We can get you our numbers through there!

Also anybody willing to help split food and drink costs and bring something for meet...ex buns, condiments, soda etc... just a thought.

I could help with the buns/soda and stuff:) . One thing is, that i don't stay in the town all day, rapids isn't to kind to us pointers, and vice versa.

I will be talking to some friends who have DSMs and seeing they will be willing to go. :thumb:

Hey would you guys let someone from minnesota come too?? I'm always trying to get somthing going here but no one wants to ever get a meet going.

Sure, if you want to join us thats great. Its kinda of a hike from MN but if you want to come over. If you need directions or anything let me know. Or perhaps I can meet you someplace easy and then you can follow me to whereever we are going to meet.

As the date gets closer, we can start discussing the minor details like food and stuff. I have a digital camcorder that I will be doing a lot of video recording to make a nice DVD or something for everyone.

I can't wait!!!

Sounds good. :thumb: Any good/scenic places in that area to take some nice group pics?

I'll help with some food and drinks too. Just need to know who is bring what, so we all dont bring the same thing LOL.

Either we can assign people to bring things or we can all chip in $5 and I or whoever wants to goes out and buys all the food and drinks. Also we could meet at this park along the lake. I know of a few places. I can even reserve something. I will check around a few places and see what i can find.

Sounds Good :thumb:

Sounds really good, now i have a good deadline to get the car looking and performing good by. If anyone has tryed to do bodywork in the winter, it sucks ass(in a heated garage though).

edit: I can ask some of the stevens point guys, but for the most part, there not into that thing. I know one of them just blew his motor, and my good friend T.J. just won't want to.

Me and my brother (alex) painted two complete cars last winter (my blue talon and a blue 1gen). Just about died from the fumes.

I do all my painting in my basement(worse possible place, but its were it must happen). I do most of my work at school, with a 9 stall heated garage, but i must do my fibreglassing at a friends house tonight, its going to suck. If you wondering, i hate when cars rust in the worse places, i.e. rear quarter panels, fibreglassing is better than bondo though.

Wait until someone leans up against your quarter panel and it all just cracks apart.

Well..the steel is still there, just that it decided to leave a nice concentrated hole in the middle(about 1/8" in diameter), so in order to fill it, i'm fiberglassing, then using bondo to really make it smooth, it won't crack.

or you could use tiger hair instead of fiberglass... thats what i used on the back bumper of my body kit because i needed to build up a big area. Then i mudded over the tiger hair.

Just wondering, but is that the fiberglass that has the strands already in it, so all you need to do is lay it on? If so, that was going to be a possibility, i'm not doing it tonight, my friend is busy, so i don't have a heated garage.

I would like to go but it is kinda far for my dsms. If mine is running when these meets come around i would like to see some fellow dsmers cars.

Well i'm game to go i live close to hudson..i don't know where stevens point is but hey i'm always up for a good time

Stevens Point is in the middle of Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, and Waupaca. Take highway 94, to either 29, then south on I-39, or take I-94 to highway 10, then cross over.
