Just wondering, but is that the fiberglass that has the strands already in it, so all you need to do is lay it on? If so, that was going to be a possibility, i'm not doing it tonight, my friend is busy, so i don't have a heated garage.
yea it already has some strands of stuff in it, you just add hardener. It gets really hard really fast and you bascially need a grinder to get it somewhat smooth before you sand it because it sand really hard. LOL, you probably shouldnt need a grinder, but it sands pretty hard and its suppose to be really strong.

I'll go pick some of that stuff up then, i don't mind sanding, i'll just make sure to put a very little amount on, and not to slop any around. Tomorrow, the auto shop will stink for days!

I think as the time starts progressing to in the summer. I think we should go to the races in Kaukana and do a couple drag races. Just in case some of us DSMers get a little mouthy, we will be able to prove whos car can beat/smoke the others car. Or we can just go up there and have a good time. :thumb:

It was just a suggestion that just popped in my head. What do you guys think?

I will race ya alex. Now that my boost leak is fixed (stupid injector O-ring) I will be able to beat ya. Just hope your car is finished and tuned by then.

hell yes. As soon as kk has some real street drags(RSD) or a high school night, I'll be their and in the 13's hopefully. btw, boostinaintez is Cody, the only other true DSM'er that i know from shawano and he knows his shit. So look for his blue laser at kk (as long as his tranny can hold together this time OMG ) and at our meet(s).

edit, RSD = may 5th at kaukauna and may 12 = high school/ tune and test.
here is a link to the full 2006 schedule ( the Wednesday tune and test nights are good days to go, not to busy usually)

Are they going to be timing us in the quarter mile? Cause the other time, they weren't timing any of them.

So cody was the one that runed it last year for everyone by blowing his tranny. After that no one would run because of the tranny fluid all over the track. ha, oh well. I feel sorry for him, sucks when the tranny goes. Did he get a new one or send it off to get built or anything? Is he gonna come to this DSM meet too?

You can make a stop at eau claire, and cruise with me. I think I got another dsm for sure to come. Two more are considering it. Should be good though, since the date is far ahead.

they were timing them at RSD, they just dont light up the score board. You get to see what you run on your time slip and only what your run. Thats why its called real street drags. And yes, Codys car was the one that had tranny fluid all over the track, but what do you expect when you blow your tranny to shit.

So did Cody get just a stock/OEM replacement or did he build it up?

OK, keep me posted on this meeting. i'm sure i'll show up.

hey guys anyone near milwaukee going to this? I would like to go maybe if anyone is down here we can ride together?

More than just A friend. Jesse, Branden, Will, Chris, Tony, JJ, and I am sure someone else will get one by then. And all of them are Turbo AWD's accept for JJ which is a 3g turbo.

Well I dont know why JJ is sticking 15 grand into a 3g, when he could buy a 2g and get 700hp for the same price. :toobad: :p
