I put in a jdm auto transmission. Had to switch a couple components nothing major. Only ran into one problem. There is a group of 3 wires that come out by the dipstick. Now, im pretty sure these wires go to the solenoids. Problem is theres 4 wires on the harness to my car. I just spliced those 3 wires into the plug i had from my old tranny. then plugged it into the harness on the car. When i plug the harness up the car wont move. If i unplug the harness, the car goes into gear and moves in D, 1, 2. but, wont go into reverse. And Im not even sure if it will shift, I dont wanna try untill i figure out the problem. Oh, btw this is in my 98 gsx, I wish the car was as simple as my 91 tsi. 5spd.
