Wiring Mirror Turn Signals?

I was trying to wire my mirrors into my turn signal because I bought the ones that blink so I researched on here and found a post on it. However when I went to tap the wires the colors didn't match up with what was said. Are there different wiring harnesses for the 2gs? Or am I just really bad at finding wires.
Also if you know the wires that are for the turn signals that would really help me out. (95 rs)

You could run the wires to the turn signal in your headlights if you want a guaranteed solution and you basically remove the splash shields and your wires are right there
