Turn Signals

Hey everyone, I did a few keyword searches already, so I apologize if this subject has been hit on before....but I have a quick question that I couldn't find the answer for in the forums. How do you get rid of the orange in the turn signals on a 98 Eclipse? I'm not sure if it's some sort of film, lens, or whatever, I just know I don't know how to get rid of it to put in my other turn signals. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you are talking about the turn signal that is actually mounted in the headlight unit. I have the aftermarket projectors now, but my OEM headlights had the amber film inside. My color scheme was in green, so I put a green rubber slip over the bulb and that took care of it. I guess you could try a hyperwhite bulb or blue ones. I do not know if the yellow is removable.

Yes, the film is removable.. you can bake them to get them apart too..

:laugh: I hear ya there man! One more quick question while I've still got your attention. How difficult of a process is this really? Maybe it's just because I have only had my car under a year and I'm scared to tamper with somethin' like my headlights, but I just wanna know if this is a good method or the only method to go about this and if I should expect any major struggle while taking off or puttin' the lights back in. Thanks again!

The hardest part of the whole walkthrough will be taking the headlights out of the car. After that I truly believe it's smoooooooth sailing.
