wiring diagrams with dimensions?

would anybody happen to know where i can find engineering diagrams, or drawings with actual wire lenghths i wanna build a engine harness from scratch using milspec connectors and what not when i have down time

I doubt you'll ever find that as it is not published for the public. The best you can probably do is find someone who has the harness out of their car and ask (pay?) him to measure the wires (there's a lot).
