i want to know what are the best wires to get for my 1990 eagle talon tsi. i am looking for the msd 8.5 super conductors but i cant find any for the first gens. i did a search and found the list but anybody know where to get those wires for 1 gens

Me personally I use to use the magnecor 8.5 wires. And I just decided to switch to the accel wires and havent noticed any differance on the dyno. The only differance is in my pocket book. The Accels are 55 a set, and the Mags are 90 a set. So you can almost buy 2 sets of Accels for the 1 set of Mags. And the same goes for the MSD set, they are 90 a set. But do as you want, just trying to let you know I havent noticed a differance on the dyno.

The 55 to 90 wires there are no differance, just the price. So why pay alot more for the same performance. My dyno results are no differant with the change of the wires, thats the point im trying to make

Get the stock NGK wires. Wires aren't going to make a difference unless your ignition system is already on it's way out.

Im not sure with are stock wires but alot of the time "aftermarket" parts are cheeper. I would say for $50 go with the accel's, I use em and have had no problem with them, lots of guys use these or the magnecores, if u want to spend the extra get the mag's but I doubt you'll see/feel any difference. Maybe 1 hp if ur lucky (and its kinds hard to notice that on a 300 hp car :laugh: ) The accel's are only 150 ohm a foot compared to the stock which are like 1000 or somethin.

well i just ordered some 2g wires for my 1g from msd so they should be fine right?

I beleive they will be longer than the originals but they should work if you can find a place to put the extra wire without causing cross induction.
