I installed a radio and I left the wire labeled interior lights not connected should I have connected it to the radio power 12v? Or leave it disconnected when installing aftermarket

"Interior lights" or illumination wire is connected to dim a radio at night when the lights are turned on. It is up to you if you want to use it or not, assuming the installed radio has an illumination wire (which all aftermarket current radios usually do and is orange in color).
